Grok AI is an AI chatbot and a family of large language models built by xAI, the Elon Musk company that SpaceX bought in February 2026. You use it on grok.com, in the Grok apps, inside X and in Tesla cars. It chats, searches the web and X in real time, writes code and makes images and video. The current model is Grok 4.7, released on September 21, 2026.
It's powerful as hell, and a lot of websites and even bloggers are using 'chatbots' like it to craft the dialogue for their posts. I can promise you I will never do that. Grok doesn't have my twisted outlook nor my unstable sense of humor.
What I did do was asked Grok to make a 1967 camaro
in to a tesla truck. It did and it gave me this:
This is what came back, with Grok's description:

Then I asked Grok to color it for me.
