Dodging the tax audit bullet? You could be in luck...
The chances of an income tax audit depend on several factors, not the least of which are the phase of the moon, the luck of the Irish and an ocassional four leaf clover. Of course there are other factors, like the size and nature of your income, and the accuracy of your return. Here are some general insights based on common audit triggers and audit rates:
General U.S. IRS Audit Rates in recent years?
Overall audit rate: <0.5% (less than 1 in 200 taxpayers).
High-income earners (>$1 million/year): ~2–5%.
Low to moderate-income earners: <0.3%.
Self-employed / small businesses (Schedule C): ~1–2% depending on income level.

Canadians - and other foreign nationals - visiting for longer than 30 days must now register with the U.S. government. The registration will then determine if someone will need a biometric appointment to be fingerprinted.
Any failure to comply with registration or being fingerprinted could result in a fine of up to $5,000 or imprisonment up to six months, or both, according to DHS. All these components have made the Sunshine State not seem as welcoming a place to spend the winter for some Canadians.

Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred said he discussed the all-time hit king with President Donald Trump at a meeting two weeks ago and he plans to rule on his permanent ban in the near future.
Rose, a three-time World Series winner and baseball's all-time hit leader with 4,256 hits throughout his career, died at 83 in September and Trump has since urged Manfred to reverse the permanent gambling ban handed down to the 17-time All-Star by that fat fuck former commissioner Bart Giamatti in 1989.
Rose told Bart to go fuck himself at a hearing, and that hair stayed up his ass forever.
Side note? The actor Paul Giamatti - who starred in the HBO series 'Billions - is Bart's son. So he had a jerkoff father in real life and on the screen. Yikes...

Prior to allegedly taking Noem’s bag as she enjoyed an Easter meal with her family at Capital Burger in D.C., the NYPD warrant squad was looking for him. “Bustamante-Leiva’s rap sheet also includes a 2021 shoplifting arrest in Utah and a headline-grabbing bust in 2015 across the pond in London, where he was arrested for a months-long theft spree and charged with palming $28,000 in phones, wallets and computers,” a Post article said.
In March, he was accused of taking a fanny pack from a shop in Times Square and making $1,200 credit card charges in approximately 20 minutes. Police eventually arrested the man and gave him a desk appearance ticket on fourth-degree felony grand larceny charges, then cut him loose. However, he reportedly did not show up on his court date and authorities launched a search.
