Who will stand with Trump in to November? Interesting question...

Republicans have launched their 2026 midterm effort with messaging that deliberately omits Donald Trump's name. Internal polling has shown persistent weakness on inflation, gas prices and tariff impacts, prompting the party to test generic appeals to Republican voters instead. The approach comes as the former president remains the dominant figure in the party's base yet carries measurable drag in broader surveys.
The stakes extend beyond one election cycle. Persistent price pressures have kept economic discontent high, and attempts to blame prior administration policies have not reversed the downward trend in GOP numbers.
By stripping Trump references from campaign materials, party strategists hope to broaden appeal without confronting the underlying voter frustration over costs and trade policy.

  2. Trump owns this economy. Tariffs, inflation, Iran are all of his own making.
It is natural that republicans run away as much as possible. It won't work. Republicans have spent the last decade making Trump the image of the party.
Also Trump is a term limited, unpopular, lame duck president. his days are counted one way or the other. If Trump were smart he would smart creating space for the next generation of leaders to start taking the reins of the party. He won't. He can't imagine a universe in which he is not at the center

  3. Trump is doing a great job. If the judges and rhinos would stop blocking him, shit would be even better. He has no control over gas. You haters need to go to the Conservative tree house and do some reading. He is a business man not a stinking politician who lies with every breath. NO he is not perfect but he has done a great job on his second term. Stupid people will put the demoncrats back in full control and woe unto us. Don

    1. If you worked all your life as a teacher. Stopped doing that job and spent a decade working as a plumber people would say you are a plumber not a teacher.
Trump has been a full-time politician since June 2015. That is over a decade long. He has been elected president twice and is the de-facto leader of the Republican party since 2015.... at this point he is a politician.
Most presidents have little control over fuel prices. Trump is not most presidents. Gas was $2.5 in January. Trump started the Iran war. Gas is $4.5 today. Trump is responsible for the current fuel prices. It is not that hard to follow

  4. Who are Republicans going to vote for? A party that at least occasionally listens to the base or the other side that wants to open up the borders, spend even more on social welfare programs and try yet again to remove the President?
