Waiting for the first shoe to fall...

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s late father, Nur Omar Mohamed, wasn’t who he purported to be.The Minnesota congresswoman - whose home was raided by the feds on Monday as part of an ongoing criminal fraud investigation - has long described her father as an “educator” who fled his country’s devastating civil war alongside millions of others and arrived in America with his family as a refugee in 1995.
But, an expert scholar exclusively says that Nur “misrepresented himself as a refugee” to US authorities when he was really a prominent military commander in the Somalia dictatorship that killed as many as 200,000 people.
“He was a full colonel in Siad Barre’s military regime,” historian and Oxford University doctoral researcher Mohamed Haji Ingiriis said. “Ilhan’s father was never an educator.”
Watch as this unfolds - it's gonna be fun. Crash and burn, bitch...

She was 18, a Woman Grandmaster, and the highest-ranked female chess player in Iran's history. Then she played one tournament without a headscarf. Iran banned her from the national team and every domestic event. She didn't apologize. She left.
She moved to St. Louis, studied biology, and started playing for the United States. "It feels peaceful to play for a federation where I am welcomed and supported," she said. She won bronze at the 2020 U.S. Women's Championship and is now in medical school. She lost a country. She found a future.

In case you were wondering, yes - that guy is wearing a dress. Attorney General Jennifer Davenport says New Jersey remains committed to ensuring LGBTQ residents feel welcomed and respected, including those who do not have a safe environment in which to come out. In a statement published on the New Jersey Attorney General’s official X account, Davenport acknowledged that coming out is not always safe or possible for everyone.
“Today, we recognize National Coming Out Day,” Davenport wrote. “For those who may not have a safe or affirming place to come out, know that you are not alone. New Jersey is committed to making sure everyone feels welcome, respected and loved.”
So, all you closeted guys and gals out there can rest assured you'll be perfectly safe and welcomed in Newark. Or Trenton. Or Camden. Or Patterson. Ya get my drift? These idiots pay attention to the stupidist shit.

Major League Baseball has proposed returning to a 154-game Regular Season, best-of-seven Division Series, and opponent selection in the Wild Card and Division Series
Starting in 2029, shortening the season to a 154-game schedule would create a standard weekly off day benefiting player health, and it would allow the addition of up to 8 more Postseason games by moving to a best-of-seven Division Series format

That would be funnier if I didn't live in Florida...

Newly appointed White House press secretary Katie Zacharia confronted direct questions about her legal qualifications during a recent briefing. An off-screen voice asked where she passed the bar exam. Zacharia responded that the setting was a pub rather than a bar, then clarified the event was a quiz instead of an exam. The rapid back-and-forth ended with confirmation that she had passed a pub quiz. The exchange occurred at the official White House podium in Washington.
This nonsense arrives amid persistent questions about the depth of experience among senior communications officials. Press secretaries traditionally bring extensive legal, journalistic, or political backgrounds to the role. Recent administrations have drawn criticism from both parties when appointees appear underqualified for the daily demands of the briefing room.

Yeah - don't get too jacked up about this. This story is from a newspaper article back in 2019. These towel-headed jerkoffs have been fucking with shipping in the Straight since they first got in to power back in '74. Nothing changes with these motherfuckers. There is only one solution to this problem, and you know what it is, so I don't have to say it here and get in trouble for it, if ya catch my drift...

  2. What is a therapy donkey, probably the same as say therapy dogs excepting a donkey, folks visit/are visited by critter and feel better petting said critter and relaxing a bit.

My mom was a doc in VA and brought here dog(He had his own VA id card!),patients loved pooch and she would daily hit the spinal cord injury unit were all the folks smiled a lot with visiting pooch.

I was at a friends large acreage(100) helping out on some projects one which was aggravating/frustrating as hell.

I said fuck this noise, went and visited his Nigerian mini goats and within minutes felt better. They were very friendly and their antics wiped a smile on me face!I swear those little critters have coil springs in their legs!

  3. The new PressSec will do just fine against the idiot propagandist gotcha’s…err…reporters. As for baseball, why fix this mess in 2029 and not next year? Oh wait, more games more fleecing of patrons and higher revenues. Put the game back the way it’s supposed to be, and quit playing into October, just stupid. Same goes for hockey into June, nobody wants to watch The Stanley Cup playoffs in Spring.

  5. Joe, therapy donkeys are a legitimate means of healing and rehabilitation for distressed people. Our church sponsors a pair who have been a godsend for severely autistic kids, victims of abuse, and vets with PTSD. I'm as jaded and cynical as most guys in their 70s, but seeing these animals break down barriers to recovery which no human can is truly eye-opening.
