Oh, to be gay and rule Iran. What could go wrong?

Iran’s entire regime made a red carpet entrance to the first of three funeral ceremonies for late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei - except the dead ayatollah’s own son and successor. Khamenei’s casket, as well as those of his slain daughter, son-in-law and 14-month-old granddaughter, are on display in Tehran on Friday, where regime members, sympathizers and representatives from dozens of non-Western countries are paying tribute to the Shia Islamic extremist.
But current Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was a no-show, and he has not been seen or heard from since the Feb. 28 strike that killed his father, wife and child - with reports indicating that the younger Khamenei was seriously injured or even disfigured.

The Post reported back in March that US intelligence assessed Mojtaba Khamenei as “probably gay” and briefed President Trump to that effect.
While the slain ayatollah’s son was a no-show, Iran’s senior leadership - including chief negotiators Speaker of the Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi - were seen visiting Khamenei’s body.
