I have developed - over the last ten years or so - an incredible case of fear of heights tha manifests itself in, among other things, vertigo. It actuallly has been creeping up on me to the point where I most definitely can't look out an airplane window once we're off the ground. Seriously - I'm good up until the thired rung on a ladder, and then I'm fucked. There's no rational explanation for this, it just is what it is and I deal with it.
So, I see something like this thing and I start to lose it just thinking about driving on it. Does this make me a flat-earther of some kind? So be it. Read about this bridge to insanity here...

Check out the Rainbow Bridge in East Texas. My father drove us over that bridge god knows how many times going to see our family in Louisiana. My mom refused to drive over it.
