Ever been to Titisville, Florida?

If you did live in Titusville, you could see shit like this
from your front porch on an almost daily basis...

This is from Wednesday night - a cold Florida night for a Falcon 9 launch!  Shot from the Indian River over in Titusville.  This week's launch sent 54 more Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit.
Just off into the horizon you can also see the re-entry burn as the 1st stage orients itself for a soft landing on the droneship ASOG. Whoever shot this did a great job with the time-lapse.

U.S. Marine recruits who 'identify' as Sikhs can keep their beards and long hair when they train at boot camp, a federal court ruled.
The U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C., ruled on Friday that the Marines’ policy to be clean-shaven with short hair did not 'promote diversity and inclusion in the Defense Department', in contrast to the stated goals of the U.S. and the Pentagon.
God fucking help us all...

Bill Cosby, who was convicted in 2018 of sexually assaulting a woman, plans to start touring next year. The news comes just weeks after five women filed another sexual assault lawsuit against the 85-year-old comedian. Cosby's publicist and crisis manager, Andrew Wyatt, told NPR on Thursday that the tour is tentatively scheduled to occur "roughly around spring, summer or late summer" of 2023.
"We have so many - I mean, hundreds of thousands of supporters just asking for him to do a show," Wyatt said. "We have so many promoters across the country. He is in high demand."
Nearly 60 women originally came forward to accuse Cosby of sexually assaulting them in recent years, following the #MeToo movement. The national movement — which sought to hold abusers in the entertainment industry accountable for sexual harassment and assault - led to a sexual assault trial against Cosby.

Are we really all idiots or is it that the media thinks we are? I just don't know anymore...

The incredubly stupid and polarizing piece in Time Magazine titled 'The White Supremacist Origins of Exercise' preaches the activity as a pastime was started in the early 1900s, by white Americans who sought to strengthen their race amid rapidly increasing rates of immigrations and the recent abolishing of slavery.
Those statements were made by 'exercise historian' Natalia Petrzela, who was interviewed by the publication after engaging in what she called an in-depth study into the origins of calorie-burning activities.

The Columbia grad (of course she is), a self-professed fitness scholar, supports movements such as Defund the Police and Black Lives Matter, and preaches the use of terms such as 'cisgender' and 'white privilege. Released on Thursday, the article was heavily mocked on Twitter, with dozens taking to the platform to insist stories like these are destroying the publication's reputation.

It's hard enough to believe someone has the balls to write this drivel, but it's even scarier that someone would publish it. If you have the stomach, the article is here:

Florida Man warns of alien invasion - and just in time!

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) - A Florida man was arrested Friday for driving a stolen pickup truck to a Space Force Base in Brevard County in what he called a mission from the president of the United States.

According to WESH 2 News, 29-year-old Corey Johnson, of Ocala, stole a Ford F-150 from Riviera Beach, Florida three days before he drove to Patrick Space Force Base. When Johnson tried to get on the base, he claimed the President told him in his mind that he needed to take the vehicle and warn government officials that there were U.S. aliens fighting Chinese dragons, WRBW reported.
Johnson was arrested and booked into the Brevard County Jail. He was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle. Bond was set at $3,000.

Patrick Space Force Base is home to the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Space Launch Delta 45, which is described as the premier launch delta of the new United States Space Force. The site is located approximately 18 miles away from the Kennedy Space Center.

Anybody seen Kanye lately? It ain't Yeezy bein' Yee...

Forget about Waldo … where is Kanye? At least, that is what Ye’s former business manager is asking. It seems that he has been in hiding since businessman Thomas St. John has been trying to serve him with legal documents.
According to reports, St. John said in a court hearing he has not been able to find the producer-turned-rapper-turned-fashion designer for weeks, as he sues him for breach of contract.  St. John claims Kanye West had agreed to pay him a monthly retainer, but since the two had an “aggressive” meeting, West stopped paying him

Previous to the aforementioned meeting, the two enjoyed a good working relationship, with the “Jesus Walks” rapper asking him to be the Chief Financial Officer of Donda, one of his businesses. With this new position, St. John was to be paid a “monthly retainer fee” of $300,000.

Ya know that list of guys who should be in jail but aren't?

A Buffalo looter made off with nothing but his life after a man took up arms to defend his neighborhood. The ransacker had tried to break into one of the Pine Hill storefronts on Bailey Avenue when the civil soldier chased the would-be thief away, according to shocking video posted on Twitter Monday. The clips show a group of people, some carrying brooms and sticks, running through the Skys the Limit Hair & Beauty parking lot after the looter.
People can then be heard screaming as they realize one of the men is carrying a gun. “They about to shoot somebody. They trying to shoot somebody,” a man says in the video, just before another guy, clad in a gray sweatshirt and hat, can be seen bracing his feet in a shallow snow bank and aiming his gun. He fires off two shots at an off-camera but the identity of the shooter is a mystery to everyone but the business owners.

A.A. Milne was famous for having written the original 'Winnie the Pooh'.  This is a photo of the author's son, Christopher Robin, sitting at home with his teddy bear - whom the young boy had named 'Winnie'. When the author asked his son what 'kind' of bear his 'Winnie' was, Christopher replied "He's a Pooh". And the rest is history...

Fifty-five percent of U.S. homeowners say they could not raise the funds to purchase their home at current prices and interest rates, according to the 2022 Housing Affordability Survey by Cato Institute, findings released this month.
Housing prices have risen more than 40 percent since the start of the Biden Adminisrtation. A year ago, soaring home values were a point of pride. Now, for potential buyers and sellers, they are a source of fear. Add to that the fact that mortgage rates are at a 40-year high, and it all falls apart.

After skipping out of town to an undisclosed location during his city’s extreme winter storm last week, New York City Mayor Eric Adams has finally shared where he traveled. “I was in the U.S. Virgin Islands,” Adams admitted to reporters Tuesday. The mayor then reportedly went on to chastise reporters for questioning where he was, telling them “I'm not always going to tell this press where I am.” Adams was roundly criticized for dipping out of the city ahead of the storm as New Yorkers faced freezing weather, leaving the streets icy and parts of the city flooded. As of Tuesday, 34 people in the state have been confirmed dead from the storm.
