Why does the MSM hate you as much as it does? Case in point? The Stupid Bowl halftime shows...

Fox news is pretty much the only news outlet that's supporting and promoting TPUsa's alternative halftime show, the vast majority of the rest are poo-pooing it as if it was a bad rerun of the Lawrence Welk show. What is it about the majority of leftie-leaning or just plain leftie news sites that they're so enamored of a Trump-hating, Puerto Rican half gay guy in a dress and sings in a language other than our own?
It isn't that as much as it is that somehow they conflate TPUsa as being associated with the Trump administration and, as such, they have to go balls-to-the-wall against anything their DTS tells them to hate on.

I'm not that old (okay, I am) but I can actually remember when reporters reported the news without having to tell you their opinion of anything - as if we give a fuck what they think. Juss' sayin'...

Some days are harder than others...

I know it might sound silly, but there are days when I can't
figure out what to start this with...

I always try to start out with something that'll - metaphorically, at least - grab ya by the nuts and hold your attention. Yeah, well, some days the pickin's are ripe, and other days - like today - there's no so much shit goin' on it's better to start out as neutral as possible and let the chips fall where they wanna, if ya get my drift. Pretty cool graphic, though,, huh?

Today in History: The National League Modifies the Ball

In 1931 the National League made a controversial change to make baseball more interesting.
It seemed that batters had a big advantage over pitchers. Base hits and home runs were becoming too common. So the league introduced a new baseball, one that wouldn’t travel as far when hit. Its cushioned cork center and thicker leather hide made it less responsive to impact. The new ball also had raised stitching, which gave pitchers better control.
The following season, the number of league home runs fell from 900 to 500. In time, the American League also adopted the dead balls.
Then, thirty years later, team owners thought they’d been too successful. They wanted to raise attendance by bringing back higher scoring games. So they lowered the pitcher’s mound and narrowed the strike zone. But game scores continued to be modest until 1973, when the American League introduced the controversial designated hitter rule.
And the endless tinkering with baseball rules went on.

I've finally come to the conclusion that the New Yorker Magazine is put together by a bunch of limp-wristed liberal jerkoffs to please an audience of like-minded limp-wristed liberal jerkoffs with no sense of humor.
I'm so old that I can actually remember back to the days when it was a bright, adult-oriented,, sophisticated magazine. Now, god knows what inmates are running that asylum. And they haven't published a truly funny cartoon since Charles Barsotti died. Juss' sayin'...

Rep. Maxine Waters is going viral after claiming she could be “next,” alleging the president “abducted Maduro,” and warning Americans might be targeted just for speaking out, calling him dangerous. Left critics scream “constitutional crisis,” but on the right, it reads as hysteria from a lawmaker terrified of real leadership.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested more than 650 illegal aliens in West Virginia during a statewide enforcement surge conducted from Jan. 5 to Jan. 19, federal officials announced. The operation involved ICE Philadelphia working with 14 local law enforcement agencies under the federal 287(g) program and targeted individuals with criminal histories and prior removal orders.
ICE teams were deployed across Martinsburg, Moorefield, Morgantown, Beckley, Huntington, and Charleston. Officials said those arrested included individuals convicted of child sex abuse, drug possession, and endangering the welfare of children, as well as people who had previously been ordered removed from the United States.
“This operation demonstrates how strong partnerships between ICE and West Virginia law enforcement agencies enhance public safety and the integrity of our immigration system,” said Michael Rose, acting field office director for ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations in Philadelphia.
State and local officials praised the operation, while supporters cited public safety gains. Critics of large-scale enforcement actions continue to raise concerns nationally about immigration policy and oversight.

This is how she's gonna make the Garden State 'affordable'?

Newly elected ultra-lib Governor Mikie Sherrill is going to make her predecessor - Phil Murphy - look like Gengis Khan before she's done.
Her latest message of “affordability” is drawing sharp criticism after reports surfaced that her inaugural festivities included a private dinner charging up to $100,000 per plate - a figure far beyond the reach of the average New Jersey resident.
According to a Politico report, the high-dollar event was held at the Meadowlands complex, the same venue shared by the New York Jets and Giants, and was part of a series of celebrations marking Sherrill’s swearing-in. Attendees reportedly paid at least $100,000 - and in some cases over $250,000 - to dine with the then-incoming governor, despite state law capping individual inaugural contributions at $500.
That apparent contradiction was made possible through a legal loophole that allowed donors to contribute to a separate entity supporting the festivities, meaning the full list of contributors may never be disclosed.

Critics say the lavish fundraising undermines Sherrill’s campaign promises of transparency and fiscal fairness. The former congresswoman built her gubernatorial bid around affordability, government reform, and “getting dark money out of politics.” Yet, the event’s six-figure price tag and secrecy over donor identities have reignited debate over whether Trenton’s ethics standards are being selectively applied.

If nothing else, this should be fun to watch...

According to a couple of Floria Hillbillys, Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have agreed to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee in its investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The decision marks a sharp reversal after months of negotiations and comes as House Republicans were preparing to move forward with contempt of Congress resolutions against both Clintons, which the committee voted to advance last month.
Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) questioned the timing of the agreement, saying it only came after contempt proceedings gained momentum. “The Clintons’ counsel has said they agree to terms, but those terms lack clarity yet again and they have provided no dates for their depositions,” Comer said. “The only reason they have said they agree to terms is because the House has moved forward with contempt.” Comer added that he would review the details before deciding the committee’s next steps.
The announcement sparked tense exchanges during a House Rules Committee meeting, where Comer appeared to learn of the Clintons’ decision in real time. Earlier, Comer had rejected a previous offer from the Clintons as “unreasonable,” accusing them of seeking special treatment and calling it “an affront to the American people’s desire for transparency.” Clinton spokesman Angel Ureña pushed back, accusing Republicans of bad-faith negotiations and saying the Clintons “look forward to setting a precedent that applies to everyone.”

Rumor has it online bookies are already taking bets on how many times the Clintons will invoke the Fifth Amendment (you know, pleading the fifth) once the questioning starts...

I don't know about you, but I'll probably watch this half-time show after all...

Yeh, no, I won't be watching the one with Bugs Bunny and Green Slime. I actually probably won't even watch the 'Who Cares Bowl'. But if I do turn on and tune in, it'll be Turning Point's show. Now that I can streem live from the internet on my TV using that TVapp I loaded on to it. If you don't know about it, click on this banner to check it out for yourself:

Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett will all perform at TPUSA's rival show. Members of Mettalica and other rockers like Dave Mustane (he of Megadeath fame) and a few more will most likely kick in as well as a few C&W folks like Big & Rich. Wait and see on Sunday.
If you care at all, the Vegas line on the Super Bowl has the Seahawks favored by 4.5 to 5 points over the New England Patriots, with the over/under total set at 45.5 points.
If I was a betting guy, I'd just go with the under on that one...

It's the same guy we're all supposed to feel sorry for, right?

President Trump proclaimed Friday that Alex Pretti’s “stock has gone way down” after video emerged of him spitting at federal immigration officers and smashing the taillight of their black SUV days before his killing by border agents in Minneapolis.
“Agitator and, perhaps, insurrectionist, Alex Pretti’s stock has gone way down with the just released video of him screaming and spitting in the face of a very calm and under control ICE Officer,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“And then crazily kicking in a new and very expensive government vehicle, so hard and violent, in fact, that the taillight broke off in pieces,” the president went on. “It was quite a display of abuse and anger, for all to see, crazed and out of control. The ICE Officer was calm and cool, not an easy thing to be under those circumstances!”
Yeah,, this loving and caring nurse was god's gift to the sick and wounded, right? Actually, no. He had quit his nursing gig a few months before getting shot and had totally committed himself to the robust, out-of-control 'protesting' like seen above. Even his own father said he thought the guy had loosened a coupla bolts in his brain. The rush to judgement on the part of libs is just plain sad, isn't it?

First, they lost the fat on Ozempic — now they’re harvesting human remains to get it back in the right places. And they wonder why we are confused...

This is a frightening new trend, and they're using terms like 'ethically harvested' to somehow justify taking fat from dead guys (and women's) bodies, cleaning it up (somehow) and the injecting in to women's body parts where they got rid of their own fat. That makes perfect sense, doesn't it?
Boob jobs and butt lifts (whatever the fuck that means) using dead people's tissue materials. How friggin' disgusting is that?
They do it to justify their need for self-image, but to the rest of us normal human beings, it sounds - and really is - kinda disgusting.
I myself was faced with a somewhat similar situation a few years ago. Seriously. I stepped off a ladder wrong and torn the ACL in my right knee. When I went to the ortho dude he told me what they do is they take a ligament from a dead guy (again, ghoulish) and transplant it in to my knee where the damaged ligament was/is. THEN, ya wait six months to see IF it takes.

Suffice to say I passed. Why the fuck would anyone put stuff from a dead guy in to their body? No thanks. The original article in the Post is here if you really need to read it...
