Number ten is my numero uno bitch about women - not nearly as much as men. Men will stand in the cashier's line with their stuff neatly aligned on the belt in the order they want them packed, and will either have cash in their hand or their wallet, ready to pay as soon as the cashier rings him (me) up.
Women, especially some of the more - shall we say obese - older women will watch the cashier fastidiously while they scan every item, pay very, VERY close attention to how the bagger puts her shit in the bags, and then, only after the cashier has done her magic, she will start digging through her over-sized bag. Not a purse - more like a fuckin' satchel - and start to systematically start producing 15 coupons, some rolled in to balls, some torn, some folded - ones that she will not unfold for the cashier, and then proceed to watch the cashier suffer through scanning every coupon, only to find out that five of them have expired, and all the others are for shit she didn't even buy. Then, and only then, will she start to take her food stamps, debit card and her little pain-in-the-ass change thing with the top-slot out and start counting out her change.
And I will always - ALWAYS - be right behind her in line. Never fails...
