Bending them to our will - why doesn't the rest of the world care?

It's fascinating to me that we haven't heard another country deny the fact that Iran was on the verge of developing a nuclear weapon, and their inability or lack of desire to help stop them is scary. That leaves it up to us, then. We've placed fresh economic sanctions at the center of our Iran strategy, aiming to curb nuclear ambitions. Policymakers argue that targeted financial measures can isolate Tehran more effectively than past military interventions while preserving American resources and alliances.
Past rounds of economic pressure slowed Iranian nuclear advances but failed to produce a permanent agreement. Military assets deployed across the region serve as both deterrent and reminder that force remains an option if sanctions fall short. Allies in Europe and the Gulf watch closely, concerned only that escalation could 'disrupt energy markets and security arrangements.'
Tell me, Spain and Germany especially, what would an Iranian nuke
do your Capital cities? And how would feel looking back and realizing
you had a chance to prevent it and did nothing?
