Sunrise on the right side of Islamorada. Somebody left the tree lights on a little too long. Remember the old adage 'Red sky in morning, sailor take warning. Red sky atnight, sailor's delight'. And yes - it rained that whole day. What else was there to do?
Went and had a humongous breakfast at Doc's Diner up on Key Largo, went back to the apartment and fell back asleep. Went back up to Key Largo that afternoon and went to the American Legion post there, stayed entirely too long and ended up taking an Uber back to the apartment.
Next morning I hitch-hiked back up to get our car at the Post. A VERY non-productive day if ever there was one. A day well spent, I'd say...
