Let's go fishing they said. It'll be fun, they said...

An octopus clamped its arms onto a fisherman’s face forcing him to club the creature in a bizarre battle. Angler Jesser Cervantes was fishing off Puerto Princesa Island in Palawan, the Philippines, when he reeled in the feisty sea creature.
Video  footage appears to shows the fisherman sitting in a small wooden dinghy as he desperately tries to prise the writhing octopus from his face on July 10. The clip shows the determined creature spreading itself around his head, with its powerful suckers gripping skin. At one point the eight-armed beast can be seen latching onto the fisherman’s mouth gluing it shut. The clip shows Cervantes frantically trying to peel away the gripping discs one by one.

The one thing this story doesn't get around to telling us is - who took the friggin' video, and why didn't the video taker dude help his buddy out?
Ahh, with friends like that...
