In 1905, Luna Park in Coney Island, New York, was a glowing wonderland lit by over 250,000 incandescent electric lights. Opened in 1903, the park featured an Oriental-style architectural design with towers, domes, and a massive 200-foot Electric Tower at its center.

 Spanning spires, minarets, and walkways, creating a futuristic glow. A 200-foot tall structure in the middle of a lake featuring 20,000 lamps and cascading fountains at its base.

Famous 1905 photographs by the Detroit Publishing Company and Edison Studios' short film Coney Island at Night documented this dazzling era...
