Just trying to jump start your morning with a tongue twister...

This is Nobel Prize-winning Dr. Tu Youyou (yes - that is her real name). She is a Chinese pharmaceutical chemist and educator. She's best known for discovering artemisinin and dihydroartemisinin, drugs used to treat malaria. Her breakthrough came from researching traditional Chinese medical texts to find herbal remedies, specifically extracting artemisinin from sweet wormwood. Her work has saved millions of lives.
Imagine being friends with her, and being invited to her birthday party.  At some point you'd be singing 'Happy Birthday' to her.  Go ahead. Try it.

Just in case you don't think it could ever happen here, this photograph captures the infamous German American Bund rally held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on February 20, 1939.
Advertised as a "Pro-American Rally," the event drew a crowd of more than 20,000 American Nazi sympathizers just six months before Adolf Hitler invaded Poland, marking the beginning of World War II.
Granted it was nearly a century ago, but the organizers blended American patriotism with Nazi ideology to portray fascism as entirely compatible with American values. The stage prominently features a giant, 30-foot portrait of George Washington flanked by American flags and Nazi swastikas.
The rally was organized by Fritz Julius Kuhn, the leader of the German American Bund, who spoke at the podium demanding a "white, Gentile-ruled United States."
Outside the arena, an estimated 100,000 anti-Nazi protestors gathered in the surrounding streets. They were held back by a massive force of 1,700 New York City police officers deployed to prevent riots.
The event was the subject of an Oscar-nominated 2017 short documentary titled A Night at the Garden, which compiled archival footage of the rally.

The balls on this friggin' guy.
NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani backed down in his efforts to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu in New York City, admitting in a video statement Tuesday night that he doesn’t have the legal authority – while slamming the Israeli prime minister as an unwelcome “war criminal.”
The pro-Palestinian, socialist pol said that despite his administration reviewing “every avenue available” to find a legal loophole to take Netanyahu into custody, they don’t have the authority in a video posted to X. “It’s clear we do not have the independent legal authority to enforce this warrant,” a frustrated Mamdani said, referencing an International Criminal Court 2024 warrant for Netanyahu’s arrest over alleged war crimes in Gaza - an order the US does not recognize.

And the balls on this friggin' guy, too...
Hunter Biden is on a media blitz campaign, using far-right influencers with millions of social media followers to promote his brand and hawk his new collection of art work - which is going for eye-popping sums, sources told The Post.
According to the operations manager of the “Hunter Biden Studio,” Biden is selling a 36-by-36-inch canvas, “Watchers,” for $54,000 — “and every sale includes a private video call with Hunter, in which he speaks personally about the painting. And sources say he has recently appeared on the podcasts of extremists like Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens not as some great defender of liberal values — but to prop up his stalled art career.

Something to ponder on your way to church this Sunday: EVERYTHING that happened in the Quran, The Torah and The Bible all took place within that little teenie, tiny circle. Why do you suppose that is?

My little 'Good morning' thing today was all about juxtaposition : - the act or an instance of placing two or more things side by side often to compare or contrast or to create an interesting effect - like an unusual juxtaposition of colors; also, it's the state of being so placed, like contrasting shapes placed in juxtaposition to each other.

If I had kids, which I don't - that I know of - I would give this one piece of advice to all of my kids - especially the boys.
Always have at least one butt cheek planted against something solid when your putting on yer new underdrawers. And you guys, especially, know what I'm talking about.

Big tits or not, I wonder if she realizes that tattoo sleeve is probably
a turn-off to the majority of men. But then again, I could guarantee
you she doesn't give a fuck what I think, so there...

  1. Sure looks to me as though it is one of those heavy line drawings placed in children's books or the back of restaurant placements for kids to color. Or possibly a "paint by number" offering that was used as a model. I guess I am a poor critic of "modern art", however, I do paint a mean barn or garage. 2. Tattoos and piercings of more than one on an earlobe or anywhere else on the body are a turn-off. I have never seen a tattoo or piercing make a woman look better.

A Night at The Garden was launched in 2017 following 2 years of MAGA politics and was intended as a reminder that we have been at this crossroad before. The MAGA movement—shares many tactics with what was then the Nazi party like wrapping nationalism in patriotism and targeting immigrants or religious minorities.

More than a few Americans sided with the Nazi's in 1939. There is a reason why although WWII started in September 1939 America didn't join the war until December 1941 (after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor). For over 2 years we sat on the sidelines because way too many Americans were friendly to the nazis and many more didn't want to get involved in what then was perceived as a foreign war.
