Maybe they'll price themselves out of existence...

It's cold in Buffalo on a good day, let alone sitting in an outdoor stadium there in December, but fuck 'em, they say. ya wanna freeze your ass off watching the home team lose? Better take a second mortgage. Honestly, WTF are these people thinking? No family of four can afford that kinda ticket price.
Buffalo Bills fans are bashing “outrageous” ticket prices to see a home game at the team’s flashy new Highmark Stadium, where the cheapest seats cost an eye-watering $700. Bills Mafia from as far as Florida, Tennessee and Texas flocked to Orchard Park, New York, this week for the shiny new stadium’s ribbon-cutting ceremony – but many said they fear they won’t be able to afford a ticket. “Ticket prices are outrageous,” one Bills fan told WIVB News 4, Buffalo’s CBS affiliate.
As of Friday morning, the cheapest available for the Bills’ first regular season home game on Sept. 17 was $702.10 on Ticketmaster.
Fuck 'em. Let 'em play to an empty stadium, new or not. Fuck 'em. And I'm not juss' sayin'. I mean it. It's a stupid game anyway.. A 60-minute game that takes three hours to play and only features about 23 minutes of actual 'play'? You can have it. I'll watch highlights - if I watch at all...

  1. This is an awesome opportunity for the NY governor to promise "free tickets for all", let those trillionaires, billionaires, millionaires, thousandairs and dollarairs pay their fair share!

  2. And the taxpayers of Erie County and New York State paid for most of it. And if they don't sell out in time, they don't even get to watch it on TV. Glad I left Buffalo 35 years ago to real America.

  3. I was working in Nutley NJ and won an office Friday prize of a home Buffalo game where a major snow storm was inbound. I gave the tickets to my boss who got snowed in for a week.

  4. last time I went to a "game" was a long time ago. even then, the prices where insane. 4,75 for can of beer. and it was Bud.
yup, good old BUD. a rice beer. and rice back then was like 22 bucks a silo. this past week, a neighbor went to show, beer there was 14.50 a can (?) they got a ice tea for 7 bucks and split it. they are worse than airport prices and even those are
unreal for what you get. why on earth would anyone waste money going to a game is beyond me anymore.
