Theair-raising footage shows the terrified passenger spring from her seat and fling herself face down into the busy road.
Her shoes and phone go flying as cars suddenly brake to avoid smashing into the taxi escapee on the busy Malaysian highway. The woman told North Klang district police she had fled the car in fear as she felt anxious during the ride.
She explained to local police chief Vijaya Rao that she believed the driver had been looking at her through the rear-view mirror without any clear reason. Her anxiety about the allegedly leering driver was so great she leaped out of the car and landed spread-eagled on the tarmac.
The driver has to look in the rear view mirror to see behind his own vehicle. It's called safe driving. Unless he was actually leering at her, she's a nut.
