A similar situation is unfolding in other markets, where sellers and customers are unsure how to proceed in light of the uncertainty over how much worse things could get, and whether new products will come in. Amid lowered or halted supplies, some vendors were gouging prices at speeds rarely seen during more than a decade of dealing with one of the world’s highest inflation rates.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has apparently added a new job to add to his long resume of Trump administration responsibilities: wedding DJ. “MOMENTS AGO, BEHIND THE SCENES—Our Great Secretary of State @MarcoRubio DJ’s weddings too! Here he is in action tonight at a family wedding… Let’s goooooo!!!” White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino posted on X.
Rubio, who is frequently referred to as the “Secretary of Everything,” wears many hats in the Trump administration, serving as secretary of state, national security adviser and head archivist of the National Archives. He can be seen behind a DJ booth pressing one earpad from his headphones up to his right ear as he crouches over a laptop next to another man, presumably the hired DJ. The former senator from Florida transformed the wedding into a nightclub from his native Miami as dozens of wedding guests locked arms and danced in a circle. It was not clear whose wedding it was. Rubio continues to hold the headphones to his ears with a look of intense concentration, and at one moment appeared to give the DJ a signal to speed up the tune.

Pocahontas Warren is under fire after Spirit Airlines abruptly shut down, with critics citing her claim that blocking a merger that could have saved the troubled carrier was “a Biden win for flyers.”
Spirit announced early Saturday it would cease operations immediately, canceling all flights and shutting down customer service, leaving many travelers stranded.
The collapse is reigniting debate over whether federal regulators got it wrong in blocking a proposed JetBlue-Spirit merger, with opponents now arguing the decision may have reduced competition and contributed to the airline’s downfall.
“I’ve warned for months that a JetBlue-SpiritAirlines merger would have led to fewer flights and higher fares,” Warren wrote in a March 2024 post on X. “@JusticeATR and @USDOT were right to stand up for consumers and fight against runaway airline consolidation. This is a Biden win for flyers!”
