This is the iconic "Umbrellas" sculpture located on the waterfront of Thessaloniki, Greece. The sculpture was created by Greek artist George Zongolopoulos and was first presented at the Venice Biennale in 1993 before being installed in Thessaloniki in 1997. The artwork consists of several tall poles - each approximately 42 feet (13 meters) high—holding up tilted, colored umbrellas.
It is a popular spot for tourists and locals, particularly during sunset when the lighting changes the appearance of the piece.
