A CNN panel exploded into a heated moment during a discussion about the length of the Iran war. Political commentator Adam Mockler sparked a shocking response from Scott Jennings, a CNN contributor and former George W. Bush staffer.
The two appeared on CNN on Thursday night where a panel discussed the Iran war with Jennings saying that “they have been at war with us for 47 years.” Mockler hit back saying, “We all know that Scott Jennings is more than happy to defend a war with a country that starts with the letters Ira that we are currently failing that is going to put us trillions and trillions of dollars more in debt.”
The political commentator went on to call the war “endless,” prompting Jennings to ask, “Eight weeks is endless to you?” Mockler claimed Jennings said the war was “weeks away” from ending “four to six weeks ago.
“Now you’re making condescending remarks because you can’t defend the fact that this war is not going your way,” Mockler said. Jennings, clearly angered, hit back at Mockler saying “get your fucking hand out of my face. “Honestly, I’m not gonna have this guy’s hand in my face.”
