Public urination violations are soaring across the boroughs, according to bladder-busting new data, revealing a nearly 50% increase in 9-1-1 calls related to the odorous offense since April 2025. It’s an uptick in tinkling that’s more than a wee bit alarming.
The NYPD has received over 100 more complaints about public urination in April 2026 than it did in April 2025, according to alarming new data.
Peeing in parks, walkways, roadways and on the sides of buildings is, unfortunately, hotly hip among New Yorkers this year, as law enforcement has received a staggering 316 complaints of public urination thus far in 2026, per an April 12 report from the NYPD Quality of Life Division. The number of indecent infractions is up from 214 during the same period last year - a sizable 47.7% increase.

So why Florida? Other than the most obvious reason the weather is Florida residents pay no state income or estate tax and get homestead exemptions of up to $50,000 on primary residences, as well as a 3% cap per year on home assessments. Also, new Florida residents tell us that they were able to get more space and better-quality homes in their price ranges compared to the states they fled from.
In the decade between 2015 and 2025, Florida’s population grew by 16.5%.

British landlords are allegedly advertising “Muslim only” rentals to prospective tenants around London in a clear violation of the country’s housing discrimination laws, according to a report.
Dozens of listings shared across multiple social media sites featured the strict religious requirements for renters in London and south-east England. “Only for Muslims,” “for 2 Muslim boys or 2 Muslim girls,” and “Muslims preferred” were listed on the advertisements.

A McDonald's in California has been 'open' for more than 50 years without ever serving a customer. Hungry folks who stumble upon what appears to be an ordinary McDonald's tucked away in the San Gabriel Valley's City of Industry would have to get past a 10-foot steel fence while being recorded by several security cameras, only to discover that no employees are there to take their order. That's because the restaurant isn't exactly a restaurant but instead has been used as a filming location for countless McDonald's commercials.
Roadside America noted that, over the years, the filming site has knocked down the model McDonald's to reflect the restaurants at the time.
