Making more friends in South America?

Argentina's  President knows what side of the bread the butter is on, believing that's it's better for everyone if Argentinians are friends with the US, he said Sunday in a state of the nation address to parliament that he wants the country's strategic alliance with the United States under US President Donald Trump to become a permanent state policy as Buenos Aires expands cooperation on security, energy, and regional influence in the South Atlantic. 
"We must create the century of the Americas: Make Americas Great Again, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego," Milei said.
"The South Atlantic is the strategic battleground of the coming decades," he said. The proposal signals Milei’s push to align Argentina closely with Washington on defense, energy supply chains, and geopolitical strategy across the Americas. Milei also backed recent US strikes on Iran and placed Argentina on high alert.  
 

A Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was bombed on 18 July 1994. Executed as a suicide attack, a bomb-laden van was driven into the AMIA building and subsequently detonated, killing 85 people and injuring over 300. Argentinian authorities accused Iran and Hezbollah over the 1994 attack.
