Yeah - as if that job doesn't suck enough as it is, a Secret Service agent shot himself in the ass while escorting former First Lady Jill Biden through airport security. The shooting happened at Philadelphia International Airport as Biden was being led through the chaotic travel hub around 8:30am on Friday.
According to a source, the agent apparently left his phone inside the terminal and rushed back to get it. As he hurried through the airport, his firearm fell out of its holster.
The agent quickly grabbed it and as he was trying to put it away accidentally pulled the trigger, shooting himself in the right cheek. He sustained a non-life threatening injury after a “negligent discharge” of the gun while handling the service weapon, Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring said in a statement.
Think about that poor bastard. He will get demoted for it, but what could possibly be next - guarding the family dog?
