Okay - help me out on this one...

File this one under 'I really, really don't get it...

Now I know there's some kind of virtue signalling in
this one, but I'll be damned if I can figure it out.
Did something happen with moks or something that
I missed? Clue me in...

  5. As of early February 2026, a group of Buddhist monks from Texas is in the national spotlight for a 2,300-mile "Walk for Peace" to Washington, D.C. Beginning in October 2025, the monks are traveling to promote healing, compassion, and nonviolence, expected to arrive at the U.S. Capitol on Feb. 13, 2026

  9. There is a contingent of monks that are walking to a place, maybe Virginia? They are trying to raise awareness for peace, and walk through snow and cold. Along the way, they hold talks or lectures on being peaceful, and non-confrontational. Various law enforcement agencies along the route endorse and support them.

  13. Don’t think there’s any attempt at humour … just one of those deep and philosophical (IMO boring for a cartoon) ones suggesting the white doves join in the march for peace with the dog that tagged along with a group of Buddhist monks on a recent trek to DC
