A group of Monka are marching to DC. i understand they have been on the road for some time. The dog was recently struck by a vehicle. they’re marching for peace and will be coming through my town soon (Fredericksburg VA).

ReplyDeleteThere is a contingent of monks that are walking to a place, maybe Virginia? They are trying to raise awareness for peace, and walk through snow and cold. Along the way, they hold talks or lectures on being peaceful, and non-confrontational. Various law enforcement agencies along the route endorse and support them.

Don’t think there’s any attempt at humour … just one of those deep and philosophical (IMO boring for a cartoon) ones suggesting the white doves join in the march for peace with the dog that tagged along with a group of Buddhist monks on a recent trek to DC
