I can easily remember how the TV Guide was the single most important magazine in our house when I was a kid. Ya never gave much thought to how many different versions of the book there had to be to service so many different television markets across the country. What's even more shocking, however, is that it's still out there - they're still publishing a print version. I'da thought that woulda died sometime in the 90's, once computers were every day items in people's houses.
I'm not pimping for it , but it fascinates me that you can still get this - and get it at such a cheap price. Thing with us is, we watch virtually no 'timely' television, aside from maybe watching the news in the early evening. Beyond that, we're both streamers. And I watch so little TV that, if it wasn't for the internet, I wouldn't have a fuckin' clue what was going on in the real world. Juss' sayin'...
