I know I've touched on this before but it's worth re-hashing a bit. Babs and me went over to New Smyrna Beach for a long weekend last year without realizing it was smack dab in the middle of spring break, and it was friggin' insane. In the three days/two nights we were there I bet we witnessed no less than a dozen kids getting locked up for doing something stupid somehow - and that's just the random number we were able to see.
I came out of the short vaca thinking there's litttle doubt these beach communities wanna keep their population safe and all that shit, but I gotta believe the towns also almost encourage bad behavior just to create the cash-flow machine they love. Maybe I'm just jaded, but I don't remember as many people getting popped when were doing spring breaks back in my day. Juss' sayin'...

Read the lyrics and tell me you can't hear
the song inside your head...
I'm sittin' in my room, I'm starin' out my window
And I wonder where you've gone
Thinking back on the happy hours just before the dawn
Outside the wind is blowin'
It seems to call your name again
Where have you gone
City streets and lonely highways
I travel down
My car is empty and the radio just seems to bring me down
I'm just tryin' to find me
A pretty smile that I can get into
It's true, I'm lost without you
Another lonely park, another Sunday
Why is it life turns out that way
Just when you think you got a good thing
It seems to slip away
It's warm outside, no clouds are in the sky
But I need a place to go and hide
I keep it to myself
I don't want nobody…
There is no such thing as too much Doobies...

return ? are you kidding? I bought one OZ. gold coins back in the late 1970 for 275 each or so. this graph shows how much the dollar has dropped in value ! hell, in the late 1990's it was still under 800 per.
ReplyDeletethat is when I started buying "stuff' as keeping money in the damn bank was stupid.
Waffle House doesn't have hours. If the WH is closed it is because there is some serious shit going down.
ReplyDeleteThe Waffle House picture, WTF? That's a poor sign for America if you ask me... I can tell my grandkids "I can remember when America was open 24 hrs a day..."
ReplyDeleteThe judges blocking the Executive Branch moves because they can? Take a step back & that sure looks like the Judicial Branch taking over.. some places that could be called a coup.
ReplyDeleteWith regard to that $4.99 McDonald's breakfast: One of the reasons that so many "economically challenged" people are so "physically challenged" and unhealthy is that so much cheap (poor quality) food is available for them to destroy their health.
ReplyDeleteThe Waffle house isn't open 24/7. And the return on owning gold only works if you can time the market perfectly. It's really hard to predict the future.
ReplyDeleteOnly 48% of cal voters would vote for a republican is why commiefornia will remain commiefornia.
ReplyDeleteCarbs turn to sugar which causes so many diseases. Eat more red meat protein and eggs. Live longer and be healthy.
These activist judges all have relatives getting rich working agains't Trump. They need to go to prison for life. And John Roberts too.
What's wrong with waffle house -- empty parking spaces
ReplyDeleteWaffle House?
ReplyDeleteI don't get it.
The waffle house is only open short hours because they just opened and don't have the staff
ReplyDeleteThe region and district manager's would pull double shifts to keep it open 24/7. They would also pull personnel from other stores. That is how they roll.
