Nearly 500 cat figurines were stolen in one week from Gordon Ramsay’s new London restaurant, the TV chef has said. The self-important dooshbag recently launched 'Lucky Cat 22 Bishopsgate by Gordon Ramsay' in one of London’s tallest buildings, which features the chinsy little Japanese cat models called maneki-neko. Ramsay - the cocky, loudmouth jerkoff that he is, is known for his Hell’s Kitchen and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares TV shows. He's bitching because “The cats are getting stolen. There were 477 stolen last week – they cost £4.50 each.” Maybe that's just people getting pissed off at being charged $ 7.50 for a glass of Coca-Cola, Gordo. Suck it up...

ReplyDeleteRegarding the single mom's the blame starts with LBJ, and lately has accelerated with social media. Plenty of clips touting how to live off the gov't by having kids and having kids by several different men for the child support payment.

FWIW, I had a burger at Ramsey's Las Vegas burger joint, and it was one of the best I've ever had, and ( if I remember correctly ) reasonably priced . His regular restaurants, however, are insanely priced just like every other celebrity chefs .

With regard to the single mother problem in this once great nation. The question should not be "What about black men?" but rather "Why is this such a problem in the black community - for both males and females?"

Back in the middle 60's, when ultra-liberal LBJ presented the "War on Poverty" ... the bill read that a single mother got AFDC (Aid for Dependent Children) while married mothers did no money. And back then, a woman on welfare and federally subsidized housing would get $1500 per kid per month AFDC.

ReplyDeleteWhen a person dies, their death is verified by the Medical Examiner (in other states it may be a coroner or similar authority). That verification is documented by the formal death certificate, which is processed by the state’s Department of Vital Statistics.
Once the death certificate is processed and issued by Vital Statistics, Vital Statistics notifies the Social Security Administration that the person has passed away. This allows the Social Security Administration to update the SSA Death Master File with the deceased individual’s name and social security number. A deceased person’s social security number can no longer be used in transactions, which is why bank accounts in the deceased person’s name are often frozen shortly after their passing. Direct deposits will not go through, and automatic payments will also be stopped, often even without the bank being notified by the family.
In theory, inactivating a deceased individual’s social security number and freezing his or her accounts reduces the potential for fraud and identity theft. However, some transactions may still occur during the time after the person has passed away but before the death certificate has been issued. This can be problematic and later require that the Estate or Trust pay money back to the Social Security Administration or pension custodian for payments that were made after death. Still, it is best to be patient, give the processes time to work, and avoid confusing the issue by contacting the Social Security Administration."

However, for the MANY who die without their identity being confirmed, their benefits may continue. Not to mention those whose burial is overseen by shady funeral directors, who may not properly file the paperwork. If a person has no possessions, it would be more financially beneficial to 'lose' the death certificate, thereby continuing the SS or other payments (which might include housing assistance, EBT, health benefits, and a LOT of other goodies).
DeleteIn Calif if you're on a state pension you have to give the money back for the month the person died on, regardless if it's the 1st or last day of the month. All things go in favor of the crooked state.
