I was a lifeguard for four summers and we absolutely LOVED this song! What a better way to spend a summer than sitting in the sun, listening to the GREATEST music ever made, watching beautiful young girls in bathing suits, and GETTING PAID to do it all!!! I used to walk a couple of blocks to the pool when I was so small I couldn't even touch the bottom of the pool in the 3 foot end! My heroes were the lifeguards and my goal was to be one. I look back at those wonderful years with great pleasure! It's the simple things in life that mean the most!
