As far as the cartoon is concerned, it's really quite evident that the Democrat guests are the ones in blue at the left end of the table and the republican guests are the ones in red at the other end. They simply don't wish to sit close to one another and use bulletins to communicate. Sorry, you are stupid....no offense.
