There's a scene in the movie The Magnificent Seven in which the over-the-hill gunfighter is sitting at a table in a cantina with a younger guy who thinks he's the greatest gunfighter of all time.
Robert Vaughan is the gunfighter. - he spots three flies on the table and goes to scoop them up in his hand. He opens his hand and two flies fly out. The kid is amazed. 'That's amazing' or something like that the kid says.
Vaughan looks at the kid and says, woefully, 'There was a time when I would have gotten all three'...
