ReplyDeleteHalf of those places are shitholes. But I would never live anywhere east of the big river anyway, so doesn't really matter what kind of list they put out.

ReplyDeleteI sold my 34 year old Georgian style house, 4 bed, 2.5 bath, with garage basement for Just under $500k. It needs about $25k work to get back into the "prime". I moved south to an area where I got an equivalent home for $120k less. I will spend $80k on some heavy upgrades and eat the $40k in capital gains.
