ReplyDeleteThis is the only blog I visited on 12/7 that remembered Pearl Harbor Day. The local news in Columbus overlooked it too. My father went ashore on 12/8 in a field artillery company. He covered much the same ground as my grandfather did a quarter century earlier. They must have been in the same villages.
