It was a TV movie straight out of Green Acres back in '69...

The only reason I even mention this - even though it's a pretty kitchy-kinda film, is that I see the dogs of war starting to bark in a number of regions around the world, especially the Middle East, and I don't know how prepared anyone - especially us with the leadership we have now -  is, if we're heading for some kinda cataclysmic WWIII kinda thing.
The 'Wake me when the war is over' is an ear-bug I've had for the last coupla days. Juss' sayin'...

NYC's  Mayor Adams is ramping up spending on migrants:
This year alone, city taxpayers will spend $4.3 billion to shelter and provide other services to recent arrivals, a 48% increase from the spring estimate.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem for some time has been seen as a favorite to be Trump’s next running mate. She has made clear she would be interested in the job, and she is one of the rare potential picks who Trump has publicly acknowledged would be on his list of possible candidates. “Oh, absolutely,” Noem said on Newsmax in September when asked whether she would consider a slot on the ticket with Trump. “I would in a heartbeat.”

That's fairly simple math, isn't it?

Ya know, there are more than a few good reasons why I don't watch television anymore, but the advertising nowadays could be a big part of why it's so fuckin' terrible. This is pretty friggin' typical of what we see everyday - WTF is this guy supposed to be, because 'straight' certainly ain't one of them. And don't get me started on that LemuEmu fuckin' nonsense, either. Juss' sayin'...

  1. Doesn't seem fair to keep the undefeated winner of a major conference out of the playoffs....the SEC rep as the best football conference in America obviously influenced the vote, while the ACC is mostly acknowledged as a basketball conference....too bad Louisville wasn't a better opponent.....the lack of strength in the conference was evident, owing to the fact the Cardinals couldn't even compete against a third string, true freshman QB, which I'm sure also led to the decision....Alabama is a much better team now than in September when the Longhorns caught them on a bad day.....as the saying goes, you can get away with a loss if it's early in the season....not justifying the decision just trying to add some commentary as to why it might have been made

    1. Yep. FSU got screwed. Like when they dropped one point in the standing because their quarterback suffered a major injury yet the 2nd string QB stonked on the opposition.

FSU should be at least #3 in the standings.

  5. FSU got screwed but Georgia got it worse. Imagine 29 strait wins and loosing by a field goal in the SEC Championship then being told you are only good enough to play the ACC champ that only played 3 ranked teams in a ho hum bowl. FSU got lucky with an easy schedule. If they had a more challenging schedule they might have made it to the final 4. Bama had the second hardest schedule in the SEC with South Carolina having the hardest. SC paid dearly for that because they did not have the team. Bama slipped early with a slightly harder schedule than GA. The four best teams are not in the final 4 or it would have two SEC teams. This should have been a 6 team playoff to answer the question of who is best. It could be argued that there should be 7 top teams but all of the top six would beat Ohio.
