They can't 'buy' our votes, can they?

NPR.org - The Republican presidential primary is getting crowded.
With a former president and well-heeled politicians running, plus super PACs boosting them, it all points to what's likely going to be the most money ever spent to win the GOP nomination.
Early projections show it will likely cost close to or more than $1 billion, according to Open Secrets, which tracks campaign-finance spending. The final figure will depend on how long it takes for the nomination to be wrapped up.

"It's a lot of money to become a successful president in the end," said Sarah Bryner, research director at Open Secrets. Like a never-ending arms race, the price to become president has skyrocketed.

  1. With that kind of money, you'd think the GOP could buy some backbone.

  3. You have to be some kind of mentally defective to want that job, but Biden is far worse than necessary.

OTOH, consider the Democrat's alternatives: Hillary, Bernie the Red, Fauxcahontas, Kneepads, Stacey Abrams, Pete Butti-something. The only one that's actually preferable to a senile liar and crook was Tulsi Gabards, but she did the unforgivable in the Democratic primary debates: Told the truth about the establishment's choices.
