But first and foremost, the good news...
If there's a chance - no matter how remote - that these two chuckleheads will go away and never, ever return to the public, I'm happier'na clam.
According to news sources, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have “nothing left to say.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to stop publishing tell-alls, engaging in sit-down interviews, and taking part in large-scale documentaries in a shocking U-turn, according to a report.
“That period of their life is over — as there is nothing left to say,” a source told a reporter of the 'exiled couple’s' plan to step away from the limelight.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sensationally stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2021 - a decision that was followed by a permanent move to the US amid their ongoing quest for “privacy.”

The sheer numbers of people here is almost too much to grasp. This is an aerial shot of Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York taken on July 4, 1946. Think about this also - damn near every one of these people took the subways to get there.

National Donut Day, which happens tommorow, Friday, June 2, gives us a reason to devour a donut or two – and get a bargain in the process. There's also a charitable origin story into how the first Friday in June became known as National Donut Day: The Salvation Army in 1938 established it to honor the organization's Donut Lassies, women who traveled to France to serve donuts and other snacks to soldiers during World War I.
Now all of us can jump in and get free donuts (while supplies last) at the nation's biggest chains including Dunkin', Krispy Kreme and Duck Donuts - where ever they are. Google 'free donuts to find out where you can score a couple...

As to yesterday's question - and bearing in mind that
we haven't actually seen them for ourselves up close
and personal - I'm thinking they may be as close to the

She was likely texting. At freeway speed. In her defense, though, it looked like the rollback was in the passing lane. No excuse whatsoever for not paying attention. When driving, make driving your job.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she was channeling her inner Evel Kneivel

ReplyDeleteThe "how to" meditate graphic was good one, something I've never really thought about, thanks!

Just a different viewpoint on the car accident video - you can call it hilarious, blame texting, whatever. The fact of the matter at that moment in time is the cop that took off running TO the victim (and probably the firefighters on scene behind him) was running to help someone who was RIGHT THEN having one of the worst days in her life. First response is about dealing with the issue. Cause (other than to determine the mechanism of injury) isn't important until you save that life or stabilize the patient for transport. (Climbing down off my soapbox).
