You don't think twice about using your credit cards - and what you use them for. And your smart phone? That fucker's a lot smarter than you think. It knows where you go and when, it knows what you're looking at and why.
Our society today is totally immersed in data-collection gimmicks and gadgets, so why is Tik-Tok such a concern? We're all members of the 'Data-breach-of-the-day' club anyway. Shit gets stolen and misplaced and used improperly every day. We get used to it.
Who gives a shit if a couple hundred million morons here in the States wanna waste their time watching reels about people winning on slot machines, dancing like dooshbags or falling off the roofs of their houses? Honestly - we got much bigger fish to fry.

They are upset that the CCP has access to all the TikTok data but the CIA/FBI/NSA don't. Once TikTok is based, the American spy apparatus will have full access once platforms are switched.
ReplyDeleteNo, it is much much deeper. Tiktok app is used to pull all data from the end user device. Everything. Passwords, banking info, every single thing. The phone is also used as an attack point to spread malware to other nearby devices. It is not a simple taking of the data from the use of the app.
ReplyDeleteThe issue with tik tok isn't about Chinese capture of info, it's about control of data....there is no problem with google or facebook acquiring your data, because that most likely is, accessed by the US government assholes....I want to know just what info tik tok gathers by watching some asshole ignite his own farts, not to mention other moronic acts that seem to be only dreamed up in America....
