A 'dead body' found on a beach in Thailand turned out to be an ultra-realistic sex doll worth$ 700.00. Horrified beachgoers came across the 'naked corpse' on Bang Saen beach in the Thai Province of Chonburi, about 100km east of Bangkok, on August 18. It looked like a naked woman was lying dead on the shore with only a t-shirt over her head.
Paramedics and police rushed to the scene after receiving panicked calls, expecting to be met with a dead body. Instead they came across the sex doll, allegedly a Japanese model 'AV Idol', which is estimated to cost THB 20,000 ($ 700). Photos show the doll washed up on the beach with a naked leg clearly visible. Police believe it was originally left in a river and floated down into the sea.
Despite missing its head, the item is being kept at the local police station in case the owner wants to pop in to reclaim it. A Bang Saen district police spokesperson said: 'On August 18, 2022, rescue teams were informed that people on the beach were shocked to see a young woman naked and unconscious.
'The officers then rushed to check and from a distance saw a small, beautiful woman with a bare bottom.
'But when they moved closer it turned out to be an AV doll. 'Her head was missing and her bottom was exposed. We checked on the internet and they cost about 20,000 Baht. 'We believe the doll had been dumped in a river or canal before entering the sea and washing up on the sand. It has now been removed in order to prevent it from scaring tourists. 'If the owner wants to reclaim their doll they can collect her from the rescue team's station.'
