How long is it gonna take to undo this whole mess he's made...

Failing Economics 101 in a disastrous way -
you never raise taxes during a recession...

The energy and healthcare deal from Sens. Joe Manchin and Chuck Schumer would raise taxes on millions of Americans earning less than $400,000 annually, Senate Republicans say, citing non-partisan data.
The Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation found that taxes would jump by $16.7 billion on American taxpayers making less than $200,000 in 2023 and raise another $14.1 billion on taxpayers who make between $200,000 and $500,000.
During the 10-year window, the average tax rate would go up for most income categories, the Senate GOP said, citing the data from the joint committee. And by 2031, new energy credits and subsidies would have people earning less than $400,000 pay as much as two-thirds of the additional tax revenue collected that year, the release said.
“Americans are already experiencing the consequences of Democrats’ reckless economic policies. The mislabeled ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ will do nothing to bring the economy out of stagnation and recession, but it will raise billions of dollars in taxes on Americans making less than $400,000,” said Sen. Mike Crapo, an Idaho Republican who sits on the Senate Finance Committee as a ranking member, and who requested the analysis.
“The more this bill is analyzed by impartial experts, the more we can see Democrats are trying to sell the American people a bill of goods,” Crapo added. In other words that we can understand, they're fucking us again while we're getting fucked by what they've done already.

It's just Albert doing a little shredding before he gives a lecture
on quantum physics and universal light/energy paradigms at
Princeton. That's how he usta loosen up. I read that somewhere...

What a great idea this is if you have a
backyard household garden like I do.

What a wonderful (and frugal) thing this is, dontcha think? Well guess what: Do you live in Colorado or Nevada? That water isn’t yours. You can’t have it. And you most certainly cannot set out a setup like this one to catch what falls from the sky, you thief. Water laws are so strict in these two states that rainwater collection is virtually prohibited. The doctrine is written into the state’s Constitutions. All the rain is already spoken for. It belongs to someone else, and that someone else isn’t you. This is illegal in Florida, also - that's how desperate they are for groundwater.
And politicians wonder why so many of them are hated so vigorously by so many of us...

They say turnabout is fair play, don't they? If so, this is the fairest of them all. Authorities in Dallas are investigating the bizarre death of a man whom they believe died after being struck by a bullet he fired at a woman Saturday morning. The shooting occurred just after 11:30 a.m. local time, and responding officers found a large amount of blood and a blood trail – but no victims – in front of a Medical District apartment.
A short while later, an area hospital contacted the Dallas Police Department after a man and woman, both suffering gunshot wounds, were found in a vehicle and transported for medical attention, the TV station reported. Investigators believe that the man, since identified as 26-year-old Byron Redmon, shot the woman in the neck and that, somehow, the bullet exited her neck and struck Redmon in the leg.
According to police, Redmon died at the hospital, and the woman, who has not been identified publicly, was treated and released the same day

I just found this picture deep down in my archives.
It's from about six or seven years ago when I was
still living at the Jersey Shore .

I had made a note and left it attached to the picture:
"I was up in Asbury park the other night for cocktails but that's a whole 'nother story about $ 8.00 beers and $ 16.00 Martinis.
I HATE paying for parking in that shithole little town, so I parked on a side street and walked a block instead. On the way home I happened to see PeeWee Hermann sitting on a swing hanging from a tree in front of one of the houses. I'm re-assessing my feelings for the town."

It's a 'Catch-22' for these guys out there. On the first hand, thunderstorm bring shitloads of rain really, really fast to an area, and you'd think that'd be cool with them for the rain's ability to knock down the fire, right? But, NO - they freak because the storm also bring lightning with them, and a lot of these big fires are started that way. Fucked if ya do, screwed if ya don't, if ya know what I mean...

I thought you'd like to see who was the original ‘Girl From Ipanema'. The song was released 50 years ago and believe it or not she was NOT invited to the opening ceremonies. That's impossible to even imagine.
This is Heloisa ‘Helo’ Pinheiro, the woman that inspired the classic bossa nova tune,. This is her - posing a few years ago for a picture in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She's now 77 and probably as beautiful today as she was then...
The quintessential Brazilian/Bosa Nova song was inspired by Pinheiro when she passed the songwriter - Jaoa Gilberto - in a beachside bar on the beach in Rio.

Astrud Gilberto didn't speak a word of english when this was recorded.
She did the entire song phonetically - betcha didn't know that, huh?
The album and this song are my single favorite piece/collection of music. I listen to this at least once a week, and have so for the last 35 or so years. No bullshit.

Years ago, all over Europe and the Caribbean, in almost every country and on virtually every island, there were 'Honor Bars'.

Usually in an alleyway in a town or a roadside stand, the little bars were - for the most part - unattended little businesses where you helped yourself to whatever you wanted and paid based on a posted price sheet. Sadly, these have all but dissappeared over the years because people can't be trusted anymore...

There is a little restaurant in Italy where they take this concept in a different direction. There are no waiters. No menu. Just a fridge full of whatever's there that day. There are no servers of any kind and no bill at the end of your meal. You pay (if you want) what you feel your meal was worth. The owners are local vintners, cheesemakers, farmers and butchers crafting unique and exquisite dried hams. They designed it that way. What a GRAND concept
Here are some pictures:

Here's a great idea for you guys when you find yourselves in a strange town or a different bar where you don't know anyone. If the bar is dark, you'll need to wait a  minute to let your eyes adjust to the light before you do this.  As soon as you walk in, yell out "You cheating BITCH" and then watch the women seated at the bar. The stool next to the woman who turned around fastest is where you wanna sit. Trust me...

The funniest thing about this is that one of my readers who I also know on Fakebook messaged me with this attached, saying it hits the nail right on the head for me. I don't bitch about your comments - or the lack of comments, do I?
 Juss' sayin'...

If by Reckless you mean something akin to playing Russian Roulette with a FullySemiAuto 45,yeah, reckless..

  3. I'd comment on everything but you'd get really tired of the mix of "Excellent!", "Great one!" and/or them somehow relating how your post just reinforced what turds democrats are.

  4. I knew the Dems couldn't pass a gigantic giveaway spending bill without raising taxes on the middle class.

Welfare giveaways, gun control, and raising taxes are three planks of the Democrat platform.

  5. Walking away from a closing in 2001 a multi millionaire and having the love of my life whisper how much she loved me were a couple really happy moments. Having my work(the only new work in the auction) sold at the biggest Tiffany auction in history was also a good one.
