A Honda driver aggressively tries to overtake a Ford F-150 pickup truck on a NJ highway but loses control and smashes headfirst into a cliff.
Gee - I hope the Honda guy's okay...
Quick video clip from the guy behind him. I gotta get me one of
those dash cams. I could find shit to post every day around here:
A pipsqueak little pain the ass Honda Accord was seen
aggressively trying to overtake a Ford F-150 Raptor who
refused to let him in on the Palisades Parkway in New Jersey.
Eventually the Honda dude attempted to overtake the truck and squeeze between the two vehicles driving at the same speed on the two-way highway. The truck driver musta did a little pit maneuver because HondaMan lost control and veered off the road. The car immediately flipped over after crashing into the cliffside which runs along the roadside.
Ya gotta ask - what the fuck was he thinking?

Vehicles never touched. Just plain old over correcting on the Honda's part.
ReplyDeleteThat isn't a dashcam recording. They are static. Somebody clearly seen this little contest start and thought it could turn into something interesting so got their phone out.
ReplyDeleteGotcha both - thanks guys...
ReplyDeleteActually, there appeared to be no contact between the truck and the Honda, as the truck did move to the left to let the a$$hole through as the Honda swerved a bit to the right, which started the oversteer. Look at it by stopping the action and seeing the situation unfold. It also appears that the road was slippery, or could have been as noted by the icefall from the cliff. Front wheel drive cars, on slippery ground can oversteer easily when under trailing throttle (engine braking)and especially when making a jerky sudden turn. Plues the Honda driver NEVER hit the brakes at all. Great post.....
