A Government that spies (that's what amassing data like this is) on it's own people is not a 'Government of the people'. It's something frighteningly different.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon indicate that the ATF is keeping tabs on U.S. citizens who have purchased firearms to make sure their personal information is in the hands of the federal government.
The agency was able to obtain the information by using a process where the ATF can collect and store records on private gun transactions from licensed gun stores when they go out of business. The information is stored at a federal site in West Virginia.

The criminals infesting BATFEces are explicitly prohibited from acquiring and storing this data yet they do it anyway. Because they suffer ZERO consequences for this blatant violation of laws and our Rights. And they will continue to act like the criminals they are till they start suffering real personal consequences.
