  1. I saw Blind faith in Chicago, Clapton I think blew up at least a dozen amps. Being only 14-15 at the time I was excited as hell, but in retrospect the concert was shitty, I think they were all high out of their minds, But I didn't let that diminish my respect and adulation of Eric Clapton. I still admire greatly his guitar playing, and sorry Joe.I never was a big Hendrix fan. Perhaps had he not died and his body of work was more complete I might change my mind. From the old guys I'll take Clapton or Beck any day. Currently very big into Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Joe Bonamassa. Truly splendid guitar players
