What are you gonna be when you grow up?

Older - that's all. As Jimmy Buffett once said - 'I'm growing older but not up'...

Mike Tyson nears boxing return as another $20 million opportunity emerges

'Iron Mike' has continued to tease a sensational comeback on his social media, releasing videos of him ferociously hitting pads with renowned mixed martial arts coach Rafael Cordeiro.

Ever since Tyson - who retired from boxing in 2006 after consecutive losses to Danny Williams and Kevin McBridge - declared himself "back", fight fans have been wondering who will welcome the former undisputed heavyweight champion back to the ring.

The former heavyweight champion is expected to be offered a contract by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship that will exceed the $20 million pact the company extended to Tyson earlier this month and include charitable donations, the organization’s president told MMA Fighting.

Do as I say, not as my husband does...

The duplicitous piece of shit Governor of Michigan says fuck you to her own rules. Go figure, huh?

The owner of a Northern Michigan dock company says Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's husband wanted his boat placed in the water before the Memorial Day weekend as Whitmer urged residents not to rush to the region.

No longer visible to the public, Facebook posts from NorthShore Dock LLC and its owner, Tad Dowker, focused on what Dowker said was a request last week by Whitmer's husband, Marc Mallory. The posts have drawn the attention of Republican state lawmakers, who said the Democratic governor's family may not be following her guidance for the rest of the state.

Whitmer's spokeswoman, Tiffany Brown, didn't confirm or deny Monday the assertions by the marina company or its owner. Brown said the administration wouldn't address "every rumor that is spread online."

I know I'm getting older, but I come to realize you're never to old that you can't learn something new every day. I learned yesterday - the hard way -  that it's a whole lot better to plant an ass cheek against something when yer putting on yer underwear.

Three young Bolivian brothers were hospitalized after getting a black widow spider to bite them — thinking it would turn them into Spider-Man, according to officials. The Marvel-loving siblings — aged 12, 10 and 8 — found the spider while herding goats in Chayanta, a Ministry of Health official revealed at coronavirus briefing Saturday, according to Telemundo.

Thinking it would give them superhero powers, they prodded it with a stick until it bit each of them in turn, the official, Virgilio Pietro, said.

If ya tell me what's happening - and only report on the incident or happenstance -  I'll say it's news.

If ya tell me someone's opinion of something that happened, that not news. It's bullshit and you and I both know it's bullshit but you still insists on telling me it's news, so fuck you.

What exactly the fuck is wrong with the media today? I'd tell ya but then I'd havta kill ya, right?

Jimmy Cobb wasn't just a drummer - he was a gifted, great Jazz drummer. He played on Miles Davis’ iconic ‘Kind of Blue.’

He died on Sunday.

Jazz drummer Jimmy Cobb, who brought subtlety and swing to Miles Davis’ epochal “Kind of Blue” and many other classic albums, died at his home in New York on Sunday, according to NPR and other outlets. He was 91. His wife, Eleana Tee Cobb, said the cause was lung cancer.

This album wasn't just great - it's was ground-breaking. If you've never listened to early Miles - especially this record - you owe it to yourself to do it.

While best known as a member of what aficionados call “Miles Davis’ First Great Sextet,” performing on albums like “Sketches of Spain” and “In Person Friday and Saturday Nights at the Blackhawk,” Cobb and his Davis bandmates, bassist Paul Chambers and pianist Wynton Kelly, continued to play together until Chambers’ death in 1969, working with John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Wes Montgomery, Art Pepper and many others. Cobb also worked with singers like Sarah Vaughan and Dinah Washington.

New Jersey is the state with the most people packing their things and moving away.

And it is not like this is just a one-off bad year for New Jersey. The Garden State has landed itself within the top 10 on this list for the past 10 years.

It's not like there are not perks to living in New Jersey. Besides its close proximity to cities like Philadelphia and New York, there are about 130 miles of coastline bordering the state. And the bread and the pizza are REALLY good, but that does not seem to be enough to keep the 66.5 percent of the state’s moving population from saying farewell.
