Snowballs in Hell?

Maybe snowballs in Boston this weekend.

...

Global warming at it's best...

Record heat for the Southwest, Record cold and snow for the Northeast and
strong to severe storms for parts of the Southern and Central Plains.

Oh. c'mon man - this is pretty funny.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has joined the rest of the world in playing the wildly popular Nintendo Switch game “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” during the coronavirus lockdown, she said on Twitter Thursday.

Despite her socialist politics, the freshman firebrand has signed up for the game Wired described as “late-stage capitalism with talking squirrels” — in which players borrow increasingly large amounts of money from raccoon tycoon Tom Nook to renovate their home while stripping nearby islands of natural resources.

AOC announced she was opening her Twitter direct messages “for the first time since the Zuckerberg hearing” to connect with other players so she could drop by their in-game islands.

So. Ya got a nun in an old car smoking a butt and

Jersey Shore town won’t charge you for
beach badges as long as access still limited

Isn't that nice of them?

As shore towns begin the slow process of reopening during the coronavirus pandemic, the mayor of Avalon, NJ has vowed that his community won’t charge for beach tags until full access to the sand and ocean is restored.

Limited access to the beach will be permitted starting Friday, with only walking, running, fishing and surfing allowed. Swimming and stationary activities — sitting on chairs and blankets — is forbidden for now in an effort to encourage social distancing. Given these limitations, Mayor Martin L. Pagliughi sees no justification for requiring beach tags at this point. Typically, towns start charging for beach access around Memorial Day weekend.

“There is no reason to have a beach tag while these restrictions are in place,” Pagliughi declared in a letter posted on the town’s Facebook page. He plans to sign an executive order on the fee waiver, which also extends pre-season pricing for tags from May 31 to June 30.

It's hard for me to believe
that he's only 3 years older than me.

Was thinking about this last night. I feel bad for all of the High School seniors that didn't get a Senior Prom this year. That's me on the right in 1970.

Guess he didn't like the way the cat's butt smelled, huh?

It's despicable what they did to this guy.
Is somebody gonna go to jail for it? I seriously doubt it,
but at least somebody should get their ass kicked.

Yup - it's a nice little shack in the hills.

Not that I really give a non-royal fuck, but I saw this and thought -
'Geez, those poor bastards - they're really struggling'.

Meghan and Harry are living in this $18m Beverly Hills mansion of mega-rich Hollywood actor/producer Tyler Perry and arranged by their 'mutual friend' Oprah.

Ya see? They're not all saints walking on earth.

New York nurse Danielle Conti, 43, (left) was arrested Thursday for stealing the credit card of a dying coronavirus patient Anthony Catapano, 70, (right) to buy $60-worth of groceries and gas. On April 9 she rang up $60.23-worth of charges on the card at a gas station and at a ShopRite store, the very same day he was moved to the ventilator unit of the Staten Island University Hospital North. He died three days later on April 12. Catapano's daughter noticed the charges and reported it to police.

Where were you in 1968? Remember the Fall/Winter before the Woodstock music festival?

1968, I was in high school. 200,000,000 people in the US, a pandemic killed over 100,000 and I never noticed.

2020, I'm retired. 331,000,000 people in the US, a pandemic has killed over 75,000 and everyone will remember it because "they" closed the country.
Massive unemployment, most everyone is locked up at home, people are arrested for being in public by themselves and 24 hr a day coverage by the main stream media.

    Have a good Friday!

  2. About those '68 Olds on the rail car. I was a Teamster car hauler working out of a rail head, when they changed from those open cars to closed ones. I remember delivering a Jeep to a dealer in NJ that had 22 bullet holes in it. I also remember that hobos would ride in them from time to time. They'd be full of shit. You'd see guy's climbing out of them and asking where the hell they were.
