It wasn't Wally, so it musta hadda been The Beaver...

Well I’ll be dammed. Wild video captured a beaver attacking a small child while he was fishing in a New Jersey lake - after earlier pouncing on other unsuspecting visitors.
The unidentified 8-year-old boy was with his family at Lake Henry in the Continental Soldiers Park complex in Mahwah around 6 p.m. Sunday “when the beaver exited the lake and charged him,” police told News 12 New Jersey.
Cellphone footage shared on Facebook shows the boy’s relatives trying to get the child out of the water and away from the beaver - just for the furious animal to give chase. One of the relatives kicked the animal as a pet dog also joined the fray, before someone managed to fling the wild attacker back into the water.

That is one seriously pissed off Beaver. The boy was transported to a local hospital by EMS crews for treatment. The extent of his injuries isn’t known.

There are Karens. There are pissed-off Karens. Then there are pissed-off drunk Karens. Yikes...

Wendy Clemente, 56, was arrested for allegedly trying to mow down the child in her vehicle while under the influence, the Spokesman-Review reported. Horrifying cellphone footage taken by a neighbor shows the car turning toward the boy riding his dirt bike while Clemente honks her horn repeatedly on a street in the upscale Pacific Northwest town of Cheney, Washington.

“This woman is crazy,” the neighbor is heard saying as the silver Ford Focus swerves at the child, before reversing and aiming straight at him, video shared Monday by the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office shows. No idea why they blurred out her license plate...

"I didn't know that - did you"?

Father’s Day in Germany doesn’t look like a quiet family lunch - it looks like a group adventure on wheels. In Germany, the day is known as Vatertag, and the tradition takes a different path. Instead of staying home, groups of men head outdoors together, often walking through fields, forests, or small towns while pulling a Bollerwagen. Not empty. Loaded.
Food, drinks, and everything needed for a full day out. It’s less about gifts - and more about experience. More social. More mobile. More festive. Some treat it like a casual hike. Others turn it into a full celebration that can last the entire day. And while it may seem unusual compared to other countries, the idea behind it is simple. Connection. Friends walking together. Sharing time. Stepping away from routine.
Because not every tradition needs to be quiet to mean something. Sometimes, it rolls through the streets with a wagon full of stories - and beer.

I have my pick for 2028. Do you?

“I’m in my mid-40s. [20]28, you know, maybe beyond that, I think that there’s a lot of runway,” DeSantis said Monday when asked if he would run for president. “Who knows? Like, you never know,” he told The Post’s Charles Gasparino during a moderated discussion, before launching into what sounded like a campaign pitch.
“Who took a state that had more Democrats than Republicans by 300,000 when he got elected [in 2018], and now has 1.5 million more Republicans?” DeSantis asked, referring to himself. “Who had a state that had a trillion-dollar economy and now has $1.8 trillion? Who has a state that had some school choice, now universal? A 50-year low in the crime rate? So we’ve got a good story to tell.” A Republican insider told The Post of the Florida governor that “it’s not been a secret he’s running.”

I'm not that keen on Vance. He sounds good occasionaly, but I know a lot more about DeSantis, and I'll tell ya - he's a no-nonsense, law-and-order conservative who's smart, intuitive and highly intelliegent. He'd make a great Commander in Chief, and a DeSantis/Rubio ticket would be perfect if he can pull it off.
That's just my opinion, nothing more. Juss' sayin...

Dem poh-lice sho is workin'...

Florida detectives are pursuing a group of teenagers whose late-night joyride across a local golf course left the pristine landscape scarred by deep tire tracks and thousands of dollars in property damage. It happened around 7:17 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at the Weston Hills Golf Course, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO).

Deputies responding to reports of suspicious activity arrived to find evidence of significant damage to the course’s greens. A witness at the scene told deputies that several juveniles had been riding motorized bikes and a golf cart across the course. The scale of the disruption was captured in a video shared by local authorities, which shows the teenagers weaving through the landscape with a 'disregard for the property' that officials say will cost thousands to repair.
I got a kick out of the tiny little editorial fuckup in the caption for that top photo - did you catch it? Grammatically speakin', though, kids don't give a fuck about anything, do they? Hahahahahaha...

Got kinda tired of packin' and unpackin' - Town to town, up and down the dial...

Almost 50 years after the premiere of the WKRP sitcom, a Cincinnati radio station has acquired the call letters and has rebranded “The Oasis” nostalgic rock music format as “WKRP in Cincinnati.”
The familiar voice of WKRP in Cincinnati star Gary Sandy welcomed listeners to the new WKRP in Cincinnati on the radio at 6 a.m. Monday, as “The Oasis” 1970s rock music stations brought the beloved call letters to the Queen City airwaves for the first time.
“We play essentially the same music that they played on WKRP. It made more sense for us to do this than any other station in town,” says Jeff Ziesmann, who owns the three-station network which beams the new WKRP from northern Kentucky to north of Dayton.
It has taken a month to prepare the transition, including getting Sandy - the Northern Kentucky resident who played WKRP program director Andy Travis on the 1978-82 CBS comedy set in a fictional Cincinnati radio station - to record “liners,” or short promotional announcements heard between songs.

WKRP was similar in a way to Gillligan's Island. I was more of a MaryAnne
kinda guy in the same way I was more of a Bailey guy on WKRP...

Like a good neighbor, JetBlue is there...

JetBlue announced yesterday it is stepping in to support Spirit customers and team members affected by the airline’s shutdown. They are offering $99 rescue fares to assist stranded travelers with immediate travel planned
JetBlue will cap fares to ensure affordable rebooking options remain available as more travelers look to rebook and demand increases. They will also significantly expand their presence at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) with 11 new cities to help backfill critical service and allow customers to continue to see a strong selection of flights and destinations.
The airline will extend its jumpseat agreement for Spirit pilots and flight attendants trying to get home and offer interview opportunities for open roles at JetBlue.
“This is really tough news for the thousands of Spirit team members affected, as well as the customers who were planning trips on Spirit,” said Joanna Geraghty, chief executive officer, JetBlue. “We got to know many of their crewmembers during our acquisition talks, and we’re thinking about everyone whose lives are being disrupted. We want to help fill the void created by this loss.”

In Florida, the garage isn’t for cars - it’s for catching a breeze and stretching the day just a little longer.
It’s sunset hangouts after a day on the water, impromptu get-togethers that start with “we’ll just stay for a bit,” and neighbors drifting over with drinks in hand. If the garage door’s open, you’re already invited - just watch for flip-flops at the door.
There’s always a circle of beach chairs, a cooler that’s been through more boat days than anyone can count, and a table covered in snacks that somehow disappear faster in the heat. Someone brought something homemade, someone else brought ice, and that’s all you really need.
There’s always that one person saying they’ve gotta head out before it gets too late… and somehow they’re still there, watching the sky turn orange and pink, starting another story.
The view might be a canal, the ocean, a lake, or just a palm-lined street - but once the sun starts dropping and the lights come on, the garage turns into the spot.
Conversations bounce from weather (“storm’s rolling in around 4”), to fishing, to “remember that hurricane,” like it’s part of everyday life. And somewhere in the mix, there’s always a Salt Life shirt, a Florida flag, or something bright and beachy to set the tone.
Because in Florida, the garage isn’t extra space - it’s where the day winds down and somehow keeps going. Thanks to Life in Florida for the inspiration.

The weather's different across the street...

Afternoon thunderstorms in Florida aren’t normal rain - they’re a full system with attitude. Heat builds all day, humidity climbs like it’s training for something, and then the sky just decides it’s time. No warning, no patience. That’s why one side of the street is dry - and the other side looks like a flooded movie scene.
It’s fast. It’s loud. And it shows up right when you thought you had a normal afternoon. Sunshine at 2:45. Thunderstorm at 3:17. Clear skies again by dinner like nothing ever happened.
This isn’t just rain. This is Florida-engineered chaos.

Thanks to Life in Florida for the inspiration.

There's something worth noting about Amazon and the stuff you see on

demand. Yesterday, there's was a pair of sneakers on here that went for
$ 60.00. Today they're $ 70.00. Just be aware that I only allow ads on

Trump Offers John Fetterman Total Endorsement To Join The GOP!

President Trump and Republican leaders are reportedly trying to recruit Senator John Fetterman, offering financial backing and full endorsements if he flips his party affiliation. Reports indicate Trump is offering his "total and complete endorsement" and a financial windfall to convince the Pennsylvania Senator to defect.
Despite the overtures, Fetterman insists he is staying in the Democratic Party, pointing out that his overall voting record still aligns with their platform. Sources note that Fetterman is increasingly comfortable with the GOP, often spending hours in the Republican cloakroom rather than attending Democrat-only luncheons.
While rejecting a full switch to the GOP, Fetterman reportedly "absorbed" the idea of becoming an independent without immediately dismissing the suggestion.

It makes you wonder how long someone can stay in a house where they aren't the popular guy before they finally decide to pack their bags and head where they are treated like a friend. Common sense tells you that if the President is offering you the keys to the kingdom, it is awfully hard to keep pretending you are happy sleeping on the porch.

Thanks to Florida Hillbilly for the inspiration and graphic.
