Every one of these suggestions stand on their own, but there's a few natable ones that really hit home. No. 5 says Buy quality. That's as true as any of them. In this world of knock-offs and cheap chinese crap that dies three days after you unwrap the package, the one thing I know is to buy what has proven value.
Buy brands yo know and trust. Need underwear? Buy Fruit of the loom or Guildan. Need a hat? Buy Stetson. Boots? Buy Frye or Wolverine. Need Mayo? Fleishmans or Hellman's. I could go on, but you get the point. For everyday guys like us, trusted, been-around-for-a-long-time brands are your safe go-to's every time...
