So - who'dja vote for Sal?

I don't care who you voted for. I know it's important for others to broadcast their opinions, and this is my platform, but I'd never tell you to vote for one person or another. That's another discussion for another day.
There's a reason there is a curtain on the voting booth, so to speak. Too bad it doesn't work before the fact. Truth is I rarely support one candidate over another, but I will vote for the candidate that I think has the best chance of keeping us on/returning us to a sense of moral and spiritual togetherness. Either way the country now is not the same as it was 10, 20, 30 or pick a number years ago.
We live in a country that's created and crafted for our children, not for us. When you are deciding who to vote for any election, remember that there is no NOW with politics. It's about the tomorrow they create for ALL of us, and we can't change our minds after the fact. We can only either find regret or rejoice in the decisions we've made...

Powerful rains and coastal flooding drenched eastern Florida – sweeping unsuspecting sea life across water-logged highways. The suspected bull shark can be seen thrashing through the watery chaos in Fort Pierce as trucks and cars zoom past. Parts of eastern Florida were submerged under a whopping two feet of rain during a flood storm hell from Sunday through to Tuesday.
Ten inches of rain lashed Fort Pierce across the three day weather chaos as more than 16 inches of rain flooded Indian Harbour Beach. Parts of the state were transformed into a watery maze as dozens of miles of roads were submerged underwater in the biblical onslaught. Schools of tarpon fish were spotted swimming through Gleason Park with stunned onlookers gushing that they were “amazed and excited” at the sea-life spectacle.

President Trump blamed the Democrats’ blue wave election wins for Thursday’s unprecedented stock market sell-off that saw firms lose trillions of dollars in value in a single day.
“The Stock Market suffered one of the Worst Days in History based on the results of the Election,” Trump fumed on Truth Social. “Such a sad thing to watch! It took so much work to get us to a level that no one has ever seen before, and then this,” the president continued. “Your 401(k)s have, therefore, dropped.

Security camera footage shows the moment a hero Marine vet stopped a shirtless gunman who had killed a woman at Citibank’s office in Tampa in a rage over a $2,500 debt. Jacob Pearson, 35, drove from Orlando to the massive Citibank office in Tampa after becoming “irate” over receiving a summons on Wednesday, crashed into a gate and shot Leanne Selman, 41, in the courtyard before going back to his car to get a handgun and executing her while she tried to crawl away. Pearson then stormed the facility’s cafeteria intent on finding more victims but was shot dead by Citibank security guard, John Fraley, who took up a tactical position in the men’s restroom before putting five bullets in the gunman.

Listening to Sean Hannity in my truck yesterday afternoon. He's starting to get seriously tedious. They've - the so-called conservative pundits who are his regular guests on the program - already started handicapping the Replicans who will and won't run in 2028. It really is a vicious cycle.
In the same way I stopped listening to NPR because of their looney-leftie take on everything, I've also lost it on Conservative talk radio. The only exception I'm happy to make is for Glenn Beck. He's actually quite insightful, if you can brush aside the gospel and biblical alliterations...

There was a time in your life when you had absolutely no concerns
beyond having fun and making friends. It's kinda sad that you'll
never feel that same way again, isn't it?

I hate to admit this took me a minute. I'm losing it.
