I've actually been here. About 15 or so years ago Babs and I, along with a couple of good friends, rented a small cottage outbuilding on an estate not far from where this photo was taken. These iconic rolling green hills and stone farmhouse are located in the Val d'Orcia region of Tuscany, in Italy.
The 'Podere Belvedere' is a classic Tuscan stone farmhouse framed by slender cypress trees and winding dirt roads. The entire Val d'Orcia cultural landscape has been a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004 for its harmonious Renaissance-designed agricultural and natural beauty.
