And the shit storm begins anew...

I wouldn't want to have to go to work today if I worked anywhere near the Oval Office. The real shit storm, however, is the Congress. Nothing will be accomplished in the next two years. It'll be non-stop subpeonas and Impeachments and payback bullshit in spades. There'll be hell to pay for anyone and everyone who's stood beside DJT.
The greater fear for us - for America - should be on a global scale. How will our enemies look at us now? My head will likely be in the sand for the next coupla years, in spite of having this platform, if ya get my drift...

Advanced security systems are now in place to guard President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Anti-missile systems are also in place at the international airport in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Avenger Air Defense System is reported to be able to bring down incoming objects, including missiles, drones, and aircraft. It will, unfortunately, be useless in the defense against every jerkoff Democrat who wants to spend the next two years pissing on Trump's pants leg...

Democrat James Talarico defeated Republican Ken Paxton in Texas' closely watched U.S. Senate race, delivering a historic breakthrough for Democrats in a state Republicans have dominated for decades.
Why it matters: Talarico's victory ends the nation's longest Democratic drought in statewide elections and flips a critical Senate seat as Democrats fight for control of the chamber. I guess there really are six genders after all...

Larry Walters had one plan: float about thirty feet above his yard in a lawn chair. Just a nice, calm hover. Then the rope was cut and physics had other ideas. Forty-two weather balloons launched him to around 16,000 feet, right into LAX territory, where airline pilots radioed the tower about a man in a lawn chair. He got cold, started popping balloons with a BB gun, and drifted back down into Long Beach. Asked why he did it, Larry said a man can't just sit around. Not recommended, not repeatable, and still one of aviation's greatest stories.

Garcia has previously said that, if Democrats won, he would lead investigations into Elon Musk’s role in the “department of government efficiency (Doge)”, the Trump family’s business dealings, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) abuses and the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
“We’re not starting from scratch here,” Garcia previously told Punchbowl News. “There’s an enormous amount of work that has happened that is public, and there’s an enormous amount of work that’s happened that we’ve been quietly working on for many months.” For the past two years, congressional Democrats have been fighting an uphill battle against Trump’s agenda because Republicans have held the majority in the House and Senate.

Some friendships are forged in the most terrifying moments, and this one lasted a lifetime. Amid rockets and mortar fire in a Vietnamese bunker, two Marines made a simple promise: if they survived, they would call each other every New Year's Eve. They kept their word for nearly five decades, never allowing distance or the passing years to break their bond. But when one friend became terminally ill, he made one final request: stand guard at my funeral and deliver my eulogy.
At 83, William Cox fulfilled that promise, standing proudly beside his friend's coffin without even relying on his usual walking cane. His final words honoured the special phrase they had shared throughout their military service. Some promises truly last forever.

nothing more than a vicious cycle.

Esme had a hobby. It was theft. Her owner found the evidence scattered around the yard—gloves, masks, kneepads, all clearly not hers. Instead of hiding it, she strung the loot up on a clothesline and added a sign: "My cat is a thief. Please take these items if they are yours."
Neighbors stopped by, laughed, and took back their things. A school bus driver even paused to grab a few pairs of gloves. Esme, apparently offended by the public shaming, stopped stealing for a week. Then she started again
