This is a great idea for the mid-terms...

Political cartoons are rarely as on-the-mark as this one is. The cartoon presents the exclusionary 'demand' as shortsighted and contrary to inclusive electoral norms, and yet, it's a great idea. By placing it in a domestic setting with a kid present, the piece underscores how narrowing the electorate to only the most committed partisans - like me and you - makes sense.
A (nameless for a reason) TV news commentator called for voters still undecided on the 2026 midterms to stay home rather than cast ballots without firm convictions. The statement captures impatience among some political voices who view lingering uncertainty as a liability to swift electoral results.
Midterm elections historically feature lower participation rates than presidential years, amplifying arguments about who should or should not be qualified as a legitimate voter. It's simple - with all the shit going on in today's world, if you haven't made a decision yet on who is right or wrong for any given office, go smoke a fuckin' doobie and leave it to us informed voters. Juss' sayin'...
