The truth is, we're different...

There’s something completely different about Florida. Palm-lined roads, sandy beaches, turquoise water, warm evenings, tropical landscapes, small coastal towns, and endless sunshine can make even an ordinary drive feel like a vacation. This is a state where the scenery speaks for itself.
Where sunsets turn the sky into shades of orange, pink, and purple. Where afternoon thunderstorms can appear out of nowhere. Where alligators can become part of the scenery. Where flip-flops somehow work for almost every occasion.
And - the gospel truth is - that's why I live here. Because of the flip-flop thing. Sometime around the end of November or thereabouts, I'll have to start wearing socks and shoes again. At that point it's a downhill slide into winter hell, where it might actually get down in to the 40's ferfucksake...

It appears that they're bitching about us sending too many
Haitians back to Haiti. You figure that one out...
Haitian officials and humanitarian groups have raised serious concerns — not over the U.S. sending "too many" people out of humor or triviality, but because Haiti is experiencing a severe humanitarian crisis and lacks the infrastructure to safely absorb returning citizens.
Officials and Migration Representatives from Haiti's National Office of Migration and local authorities in cities like Cap-Haïtien have stated that the country is overwhelmed by the influx of deportees, noting that the state struggles to provide housing, security, or financial support amid widespread gang violence. Haitian leaders have previously called for a moratorium or pause on forced returns.

Donald Trump on Saturday openly encouraged Democratic US senator John Fetterman to switch parties and become a Republican just weeks before the federal midterm elections could reshape control of Congress.

“I’d love to see him as a Republican,” the presidents told reporters at Joint Base Andrews as he returned to Washington DC from a rally in Tennessee. “He does better as a Republican than he does as a Democrat.”

Is it okay to watch a TV show more than once? Of course it is. I recently reread a Slate piece to see again what show the writer suggested we watch every single year. It’s the mini-series Band of Brothers, and a fine choice. But then I came across this line, which stopped me in my tracks. “In my opinion, life’s too short to rewatch TV shows.”
Really? So I guess this writer doesn’t listen an album more than once or read the same book more than once? Of course she does, but because it’s television, she has to be all snobby about it.
Maybe life is too short to even worry about whether you’re watching a TV show more than once.

I can't imagine anything much more terrifying the staring down an approaching twister. Check this one out - right in the heart of the town. Notice anything different about that video? The houses. This tornado wasn't in Arkansas or Kansas. This one was in Sicily. In the Mediterranean. An incredibly rare act of nature there. That's the kinda shit that has them building new churches and naming new Saints to ward off the devil.

FIRE & FURY - CCTV captured the moment this blast hits a Saudi airport as Houthis launch their fourth strike in as many days against their fellow Arabs. The video shows King Khalid International Airport as it's thrown into chaos by the Saturday attack that killed at least 13 people and injured 300.
Arabs killing Arabs. Muslims killing Muslims. Ya know why? Because one Arab thinks the other Arab is the wrong kind of Arab. Same with the Muslim identity thing. It's a religion of brotherly hate.

Who the fuck owns a French bulldog? I don't know that I've ever even seen one here in the 11+ years I've been here. Who comes up with this bullshit? The most popular dog in Florida is any little yappy dog ankle-biting piece of shit you can walk around with it in a friggin' stroller. Jeez...

    Nope.
Saudi Arabia got bombed because WE started a war with no plan, objectives or way out. The war is now spilling beyond Iran and Saudi Arabia happens to be on our side.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Israel and Cyprus have all been targeted either directly by Iran or indirectly by their proxies.
This is no longer a war between the US and Iran (where the fuck i Israel?). This is now a regional war with the potential to expand beyond the Middle East.
China and Russia are actively helping the Iranians.

Trump fucked up and we are all paying the price

  4. The law only seems to apply to us. Politicians and judges can thumb their nose at it and know nothing will be done. If I was harboring a criminal I'd be locked up for decades.

  5. If dems win, Haiti will become the 52nd state after Puerto Rico becomes the 51st.

  8. That attack on the Saudi airport is exactly why they don't belong here. They can't even get along with each other and they hate us even more. Jeez people are stupid.

  9. In my country French Bulldogs are all the rage nowadays yet were rare only 5 years ago - the owner of the first one I saw was amazed I knew what it was. A friend of a friend has one and he's awful to the point of being banned from puppy school.
Somehow the woman at the bottom has got her chest plugged into the car's air suspension.

  10. Presidents do not serve - something Zippy's apparatchiks couldn't understand. US Presidents serve.
